Following the submission of a bid evaluation report to the National Electricity Power Regulatory Authority, KE will make the winning bidder public.
The 640MW projects, which are divided into three tranches, represent the first phase of KE’s long-term goal to increase the amount of sustainable energy added to the generation mix to 1,300MW. 150 MW of projects in Balochistan, 270 MW in Sindh, and a 220 MW site-neutral project—the first hybrid solar and wind project—make up the first tranche.
