During the ongoing nationwide protests over alleged huge cheating in the February 8 general elections, Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has issued a protest appeal if “democracy or federation is in danger.”
Addressing a Youm-e-Tashakur rally in Thatta on Sunday to celebrate Sindh’s election victory, Bilawal urged his party supporters to take to the streets in the same way they did during the reigns of PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and his assassinated mother, former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
He stated that the PPP used the slogan “Pakistan khappay” to “extinguish the fire of [political] uncertainty that had erupted in all four provinces”.
