Sunday marked the start of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s two-day official visit to Azerbaijan in Baku.
Senior Azerbaijani officials, including First Deputy Prime Minister Yaqub Abdulla oğlu Eyyubov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yalchin Rafiyev, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan Khazar Farkhadov, Ambassador of Pakistan to Azerbaijan Qasim Mohiuddin, and other dignitaries, welcomed the prime minister when he arrived at Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
High-level meetings between the prime minister and other senior Azerbaijani officials, including President Ilham Aliyev, will take place during the visit.
Further boosting bilateral ties, increasing trade and investment, improving energy sector cooperation, coordinating efforts to address climate change, strengthening defense cooperation, and promoting cultural exchanges will be the main topics of discussion.
