With the assistance of the World Health Organization (WHO), a mental health convention was held in Ferozwala at the Social Security Hospital in conjunction with the worldwide observation of Mental Illness Day.
Prominent members of the medical community actively participated in the event, including Prof. Dr. Sohail Rana, Prof. Dr. Naila Shafiq Gujjar, and Dr. Ashraf Nizami, President of the PMA Lahore.
A sizable crowd of medical experts, paramedical personnel, and representatives of civil society attended the convention.
The main topics of discussion were improving mental health awareness, lowering mental stress levels in the populace, fostering improved mental health, and enabling people to live happier, more tranquil lives.
