Karachi: In honor of the anniversary of the passing of former prime leader Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the Sindh government declared Monday that April 4 would be observed as a public holiday.
In this context, the provincial government has also released a notification.
According to the announcement, “The Government of Sindh has been pleased to declare April 4, 2025 (Friday) as a public holiday on the occasion of the 46th martyrdom anniversary of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, ex-prime minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, throughout Sindh for all government offices, autonomous bodies, semi-autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils under the administrative control of the Government of Sindh, except essential services.”
It should be mentioned that the Sindh government has also declared three-day public holidays, following the federal government.
