The 19th day of the war, September 19, 1965, saw Pakistan announce important military victories on several fronts. The Pakistani Army declared that it had destroyed forty enemy tanks and taken 102 soldiers, 3 officers, and 4 JCOs into custody in the Sialkot-Jammu area.
Three air raids were claimed to have been repelled in the Khemkaran area. Two enemy counterattacks in the Wagah-Attari region were repulsed by the opposing forces with significant casualties. Additionally, in the regions of Kasur and Khemkaran, Pakistani forces asserted that they had driven the enemy back many miles.
Pakistani soldiers claimed a big victory in Chawinda, which considerably reduced enemy morale. It is alleged that in the Sindh-Rajasthan region, 150 enemy soldiers were killed and 21 were taken prisoner of war.
