According to News, TPG and a number of other bidders have been shortlisted for the purchase of the company, which is supported by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, the founder of easyJet.
It is also believed that the real estate fund Proprium Capital Partners indicated interest in easyHotel, though as of Thursday, it was not apparent if the hotel had advanced to the next stage of bidding.
EasyHotel operates 50 locations across 11 nations, with 19 of those being in the UK.
Approximately 330 individuals work for the company.
EasyHotel was once listed, and ICAMAP Investments and Ivanhoé Cambridge hold 79.1% of the company.The chain was established in 2004 and now has over 4,000 rooms.
It recently disclosed that it has extended its loan arrangement with Santander UK in an effort to expedite the flow of new openings.
