KARACHI: According to his brother Riaz, Naseer Soomro, one of the tallest men in the world, died on Monday at the age of 55 in the Shikarpur region of Sindh.
Riaz stated that Naseer was receiving therapy at home for a lung condition that had been plaguing him for a number of months. Today (Tuesday), funeral prayers will be said in Shah Muhala, Shikarpur.
At seven feet and nine inches, Naseer was regarded as one of the world’s tallest individuals. Because of his height, Naseer even worked for the national airline.
His remarkable height brought Pakistan to the attention of people around the world.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also conveyed his profound sadness for Pakistan’s tallest individual in a statement.
