RAWALPINDI: On Thursday night, during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the general region Hassan Khel in the Peshawar district, the security forces killed a terrorist ringleader and another militant, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Ayaz Muhammad, the terrorist ring commander, and Ahmedey, also known as Koochi, were shot and killed by security personnel during the IBO, while two other people were injured, according to a brief statement released by the military’s media wing.
According to the ISPR, “the terrorists who were killed continued to actively participate in numerous terrorist acts against security forces and the murder of innocent civilians.”
It added that from the terrorists who were killed, firearms, ammo, and explosives were also found.
The ISPR added that the inhabitants in the area were grateful for the effective counterterrorism operation.
