KARACHI: New information has surfaced in the well-known case of Mustafa Amir’s kidnapping and murder. The police allegedly confirmed Amir’s death on Friday night following his protracted disappearance.
The case was made public after Armughan, the main suspect, opened fire on a team from the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC), a specialized unit of the Karachi police that deals with murder and extortion cases, during a raid at his home in the DHA of Karachi earlier this month.
The issue has been in the news for a few weeks since the unit had to overcome several obstacles to get the child back before making headway last night.
On January 6, Mustafa, a BBA student, vanished from sight. Burned human remains.
