Pakistan Railways has declared that it will be launching more trains in order to handle the surge in passengers brought on by the extreme rush and crammed trains during summer vacation.
The objective of this effort is to provide a more comfortable travel experience while offering relief to customers.
There will be a “Summer Vacation Special Train” that runs between Rawalpindi and Karachi. The train service is planned to arrive in Lahore by 3:40 pm on the following day, having left Karachi at 8:45 pm on time.
On July 5 at 12:30 pm, this unique service will set off on its first excursion from Rawalpindi.
With 17 carriages, the Summer Vacation Special Train can accommodate a wide range of passenger needs. The train’s makeup consists of:
- Two Air Conditioning Two AC business class coaches One power train, twelve economy class coaches, and twelve standard class coaches
Pakistan Railways is making an attempt to improve passenger amenities and capacity during the busiest travel season by introducing this unique train service.
The railway officials hope that by adding these additional trains, the strain on already-existing services would be lessened and families and individuals may plan a more comfortable vacation.
The public has embraced Pakistan Railways’ effort since they have long suffered from crowded trains, particularly during the vacation season.
