To honor Pakistan’s martyrs, the Overseas Pakistanis Global Foundation hosted a unique ceremony at its offices in Barcelona, Spain. This ceremony came the week before, when the foundation hosted a comparable event in New Jersey, USA.
The President of the Spain chapter, Chaudhry Imran Akhtar, was in charge of the Barcelona event. Other attendees were Mirza Baig, community leader Muhammad Sajid Gondal, and senior member Muhammad Salman Gondal.
During the ceremony, Pakistan’s martyrs were referred to as “homeland heroes” by Farhan Akhtar Mehr, Senior Vice President for Europe. He reaffirmed the foundation’s dedication to telling Europe the tale of these martyrs’ selfless acts.
The foundation’s members commended Pakistan for its counterterrorism efforts and showed support for the families of the Pakistan Army personnel killed in Bannu.
