There is a lot of activism going on at Oxford University against Imran Khan, the founder chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, who is running for chancellor. The former prime minister has been called a “disgrace” in the headline of an article by the well-known British publication Daily Mail.
The Daily Mail claims that Oxford University was inundated with grievous and incensed emails and petitions in response to Imran Khan’s bid for chancellor. According to these messages, the PTI founder is the least qualified applicant to be Oxford University’s chancellor.
It is deemed inappropriate, according to petitions filed with the University of Oxford, for an individual found guilty of corruption to run for chancellor of such a prominent university.
