According to the lawsuit, Combs paid to cover up the assault after he was accused of creating the conditions that led to it.
It is the most recent of several grave accusations that the rapper has faced in the past few months, all of which he has refuted.
Working as a bartender and crew member on the boat, Grace O’Marcaigh claimed she was persuaded to consume tequila that she thought was laced with other narcotics by Combs’ son Christian “King” Combs.
The lawsuit claims that he tried to coerce her into having oral sex and touched her breasts and genitalia.
Typically, those who report sexual abuse remain anonymous; however, Ms. O’Marcaigh publicly disclosed her allegations and gave her lawyers permission to use her identity.
Sean and Christian Combs’ attorney, Aaron Dyer, described the complaint as “lewd and meritless.”
