Even while each explosion was tiny, some of them caused severe damage.
One especially gory picture was a young man who appeared to be dead, slumped in a barber’s chair with blood all over his face.
Following over a year of low-level warfare between Israel and Hezbollah, these attacks will severely impair Hezbollah’s morale, communications, and manpower.
Although Israel has not yet spoken, this was clearly its effort; no other nation or group could have the drive or ability to do anything of this nature.
This is the most recent in a string of intricate military and covert operations that began in mid-July and included assassinations in Tehran and Beirut in addition to a long-range airstrike in Yemen.
