The East Pakistan Civil Armed Forces (EPCAF) soldiers and their families will now have lifetime access to medical care thanks to a new initiative introduced by the Pakistan Army. Asim Munir, the chief of staff of the Army, has ordered this action.
On September 23, the procedure of providing 1,713 EPCAF veterans with free medical treatment cards began. A colorful event was held at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Malir, where 1,118 soldiers received their medical treatment cards. There are comparable occurrences in other districts throughout the nation.
The goal of this healthcare project is to guarantee veterans of the former East Pakistan full access to medical care. Reiterating their resolve to make sacrifices for the country, as they have done in the past, the beneficiaries have expressed their gratitude for the Pakistan Army’s efforts.
