In a successful operation, the Pakistan Army has rescued Pakistani mountaineers.
Recently, Anum Azir and Ammar Butt led a group of four Pakistanis who summited Broad Peak with success. Anum Azir and Ammar Butt got frostbite and snow blindness on the top.
As soon as the alarm was received, they immediately sought help from the Pakistan Army and were saved by an army chopper.
The mountaineers expressed their gratitude to the Pakistan Army for their timely and humanitarian-only rescue, as well as for getting them safely to Skardu.
