The Indian army chief, General Upendra Dwivedi, was criticized by the Pakistan Army on Wednesday for “extreme duplicity” and urged the neighboring nation to stop “pandering to political exigencies.”
Pakistan is the “epicentre” of terrorism, according to General Dwivedi, who also claimed that 60% of terrorists killed last year were from Pakistan and that the continuous cycle of violence in “Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK)” is being planned from within Pakistan, according to Live Mint.
In addition to being untrue, the Indian Army Chief’s suggestion that Pakistan is the epicenter of terrorism is a pointless attempt to undermine India’s default stance of holding Pakistan accountable for Indigenous peoples’ responses to state-sponsored violence.
