General Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), visited Wana in the South Waziristan District on Tuesday. While there, he received a thorough briefing on the region’s development initiatives, current counterterrorism operations, and security conditions.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reports that General Munir complimented the commanders and troops on their high level of readiness and good morale in the face of dangers during his interactions with them.
He reiterated the Pakistan Army’s unwavering dedication to stopping the hostile forces’ and their enablers’ nefarious actions.
The law enforcement agencies (LEAs) and security forces who have given their lives while performing their duties were honored by the COAS.
