In an effort to strengthen ties between the two fraternal countries, President Asif Ali Zardari has underlined the necessity of transforming relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia into a long-term strategic and economic cooperation.
President Zardari reaffirmed Pakistan’s unshakeable commitment to its historic connections with Saudi Arabia and to stand in solidarity with the Kingdom during a meeting with a high-level Saudi delegation led by Saudi Minister for Investment Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih.
Speaking at the Presidency, Zardari emphasized Pakistan’s profound regard for King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and he commended Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for his inspiring leadership. In addition, he praised Saudi Arabia for its outstanding advancements made possible by Vision 2030 and conveyed his appreciation for the Kingdom’s ongoing assistance.
