Pakistan voiced serious concerns on Thursday on the latest major military incursion by Israeli soldiers in the occupied West Bank.
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, the spokesperson for the Foreign Office, described the attack as yet another flagrant breach of international law during her weekly news briefing in Islamabad. This included the 4th Geneva Convention, which forbade the indiscriminate targeting of civilians.
At least 11 Palestinians were killed in a massive operation that Israel started on Wednesday in the occupied West Bank, as the almost 11-month-old Gaza conflict continued to show no signs of ending.
The United Nations said that children were among the dead, while Hamas alleged that three members of its armed wing in the Jenin refugee camp were among the dead.
