Washington: Ambassador to the United States Rizwan Saeed Sheikh described the enormous prospects in Pakistan and claimed that Islamabad was in a position to act as an economic gateway for the world’s economy.
During his three-day tour to Texas, the Pakistani ambassador met with Texas officials, the business community, and the Pakistani diaspora in Dallas and Houston.
He stated that there were great chances to establish a solid alliance between Pakistan and Texas in a number of industries, such as sports, IT, agriculture, and textiles.
He went on, “Pakistan can serve as an economic corridor not only for the region but also for the major economies of the world with its large market of 250 million people.”
The envoy claimed that the Pakistani diaspora in the US might be crucial to fostering closer economic relations.
