The Foreign Office said on Sunday that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will be attending the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and that he will be speaking on September 27 on Palestine, Islamophobia, and other topics.
The prime minister will stress the significance of tackling long-standing issues on the UN Security Council’s (UNSC) agenda, such as Palestine and Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), when she attends the UNGA session from September 23 to 27.
The prime minister arrived in London the day before for a quick visit before leaving for New York on Monday (tomorrow).
