In the Asian Champions Trophy hockey match on Sunday, Pakistan and Malaysia were locked at two goals apiece.
In the competition held at the Moqi Hockey Training Base in Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia, China, Pakistan was unable to turn a 2-0 lead into victory. For the Green Shirts, Sufyan Khan and Nadeem Ahmed scored goals.
By the end of the first quarter, neither team had scored any goals. Sufyan was the reason Pakistan took the lead. After that, Nadeem’s goal gave Pakistan even more of an advantage in the third quarter. However, only five minutes before the game was about to end, Malaysia scored the first goal through a penalty corner, and Aiman Rozemi helped tie the score.
