ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s government and citizens commemorated “Kashmir Solidarity Day” on Wednesday, reaffirming their commitment to supporting the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) in their just fight to achieve their right to self-determination.
President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar emphasized Pakistan’s steadfast political, diplomatic, and moral support for the Kashmir cause in their special remarks on the occasion, according to a news release from the Foreign Office.
