Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), on Wednesday promised Saudi Arabia full help in advancing cricket and building stadiums.
The development occurred during a meeting in Riyadh between Prince Saud bin Mishal Al Saud, the chairman of the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation (SACF), and PCB Chairman Naqvi.
The PCB chairman, who doubles as the interior minister, invited his Saudi counterpart to come to Pakistan and watch the Champions Trophy tournament games at the meeting.
In order to improve cricket growth, Naqvi suggested a player exchange program in which Riyadh might send up-and-coming players to train in Pakistan.
“We are dedicated to providing Saudi Arabia with complete support in the development of cricket and the building of stadiums. Saudi Arabia is like a second home to all Pakistanis, and we are thrilled about it.
