On Sunday, competitors from all around Asia competed in a variety of weight classes at the Combaxx 7th Asian Taekwondo Open Championships, providing an exciting event.
Pakistan significantly enhanced its position in the competition by collecting two gold, four silver, and eight bronze medals in both the male and female divisions, further showcasing its supremacy.
Ahmed Muzamil won a silver medal for Pakistan in the Male -48kg division, and Qureshi Muhammad Suleman and Ansari took home bronze, demonstrating Pakistan’s dominance on the podium. In this category, Afghanistan’s Tamim Rahmani won gold.
Another fierce contest was place in the Male -55kg division, where Afghani competitor Akeed Hukmuddin won the gold medal.
