An annual survey released on Tuesday by Swiss air technology company IQAir classified Pakistan as the third most polluted country in 2024, with Chad at the top and Bangladesh at the bottom.
According to the survey, India once again topped the world rankings for the cities with the most harmful particle smog, even though things improved in 2024.
India’s Byrnihat was named the “most polluted metropolitan area of 2024” by the Swiss air technology company IQAir.
The most polluted capital in the world was New Delhi, India, with N’Djamena, Chad, coming in second. Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, ranked third, ahead of Islamabad and Kinshasa.
