On the eleventh day of the war, September 11, 1965, Pakistani forces announced substantial victories over Indian troops on several fronts.
Pakistan asserted that it had stopped Indian advances on the city of Lahore. Additionally, Pakistani soldiers claimed to have captured Khem Karan after driving out Indian troops.
In a significant armored attack in the Sialkot region, the Pakistan Army claimed to have destroyed 36 Indian tanks. Pakistani forces are said to have taken control of an Indian military outpost north of Dewa in the Chamb area.
As they advanced northward, Pakistani forces captured more Indian stations in Gadro and claimed significant successes in the Sindh-Rajasthan area.
Two further Indian bomber aircraft at the Bagdogra airbase in West Bengal and a formation of MiG aircraft at Halwara were reported destroyed by the Pakistan Air Force.
