The 20th day of the Indo-Pakistani War, September 20, 1965, saw Pakistani forces declare ongoing military victories on a number of fronts. Pakistani authorities claim that their military forces remained superior in a number of crucial battlegrounds.
Pakistani troops reportedly continued their advance on Indian-held territory in the Sialkot-Jammu region. Twelve Indian tanks were destroyed in the Wagah-Attari sector, raising the total number of Indian tanks that have been reported destroyed to 494.
According to reports, Indian gun positions in the Rajasthan and Akhnoor areas were silenced by Pakistani artillery. With the four additional Indian jets downed, the Pakistan Air Force now has 110 enemy aircraft destroyed.
Pakistani sources indicate that major damage was caused by airstrikes that were allegedly carried out on Indian airbases, including Ambala, Jodhpur, Jammu, Jamnagar, and Halwara.
