On Monday, the Ministry of Education revealed that 26.2 million children in Pakistan are not able to attend school at the moment.
The numbers, which were given to the National Assembly, highlight the serious educational situation the country is currently experiencing.
The research indicates that 17.74 million youngsters between the ages of five and nine are not attending school. There are 5.81 million girls and 4.97 million boys in this group. The difference draws attention to a concerning discrepancy in early childhood education access.
4.93 million youngsters in the 10–12 age range are not receiving a middle school education. 2.11 million boys and 2.83 million girls fall into this category, suggesting a gender gap in this level of educational achievement.
