Khan’s party has canceled the protests after claiming that the incident was one of other instances of police abuse during the marches.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) claimed that armed officials “brutally pushed him off from a height equivalent to three storeys” as they approached the man who was praying on a container.
