ISLAMABAD: Munir Akram, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, informed the assembled UN Security Council (UNSC) that the terrorists were receiving backing from the interim Afghan government.
Ambassador Akram declared, “Pakistan will continue the nationwide crackdown on Fitna al-Khawarij,” during his speech to the UNSC meeting on Wednesday.
In recent months, Pakistan has experienced a notable increase in militant strikes on security personnel, utilizing cutting-edge weaponry and technology.
Islamabad has consistently urged the temporary Afghan government to stop the Khawarij and other militant groups from using its territory to launch recurrent cross-border assaults within Pakistan.
Pakistan stated that it want to see peace and stability in Afghanistan and was prepared to work with regional and international organizations.
