According to the Foreign Office on X, Malaysia’s Foreign Minister Mohamad Hasan arrived at Islamabad airport earlier today and was greeted by Additional Foreign Secretary (Asia Pacific) Imran Ahmed Siddiqui.
According to a statement released earlier by the Foreign Office, PM Ibrahim will meet with his Pakistani counterpart Shehbaz Sharif during his visit, and they will talk about regional and international issues.
A comprehensive agenda aimed at enhancing Pakistan-Malaysia relations in various domains, including commerce, connectivity, energy, agriculture, halal industry, tourism, cultural exchanges, and interpersonal interactions, will also be deliberated.
A high-level delegation made up of senior officials, deputy ministers, and ministers would accompany the Malaysian PM.
The FO had stated that Pakistan and Malaysia have robust bilateral ties that are rooted in their respective histories, cultures, and religions.
