In Friday’s second edition of the three-match T20I series at Centurion Park, Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first against South Africa.
“We’re going to bat initially. The sun is out. One thing has changed. Although we made a few errors, we performed admirably in the powerplay. After winning the toss, Pakistan’s captain, Muhammad Rziwan, said, “We are having a great time in South Africa.”
Heinrich Klaasen, the captain of the Proteas, said he had no problem bowling first.
“Not at all. “It’s a fantastic place to perform,” he remarked.
Pakistan’s innings began with a steady stream of runs from Rizwan and Saim Ayub. However, the captain’s innings was brief when he was dismissed by Ottneil Baartman after only managing 11 runs.
