Good news! Pakistan’s Permanent Mission to the UN won first place in the category of “social media engagement” at the 9th International Geneva Engage Awards.
The awards, which are presented in Geneva, Switzerland, recognize the remarkable work that non-governmental organizations, permanent representations, international organizations, and other Geneva actors have done in the areas of digital outreach and communication.
Additionally, they acknowledge the dynamic links that exist between Geneva and the global populations affected by immigration, development, human rights, and climate change policies.
Bilal Ahmad, Pakistan’s ambassador and permanent representative to the UN in Geneva, accepted the award and credited his predecessor, Khalil Hashmi, who is currently Pakistan’s ambassador in Beijing, as well as his colleagues for their hard work on the assignment.
