KARACHI: Amidst a field of more than 50,000 runners, Pakistani competitors put on a fantastic show during the Chicago Marathon in 2024. Several of them gave outstanding performances.
Muhammad Amin Nadeem Mukaty led the Pakistani runners and finished the marathon in an amazing 2:44:32, placing him 761st out of nearly 50,000 finishers overall and making him the fastest Pakistani at the race this year.
Syed Sadiq Hussain Shah, who finished the marathon in 2:52:24, and Nizar Nayani, an American Pakistani, who clocks in at 2:53:26, followed him. Shehryar Khursheed, who also put out a tremendous performance, finished in 2:57:22, smashing the 3-hour mark.
Sara Tahoor Lodhi, a Pakistani woman participant, finished first with a time of 3:45:54. Semeena Khan, who finished in 3:52:47, and Nadia Rehman, who finished in 4:14:44, came after her.
