KARACHI: Amid the continuous connectivity problem, the Wireless Internet Service Providers Association of Pakistan (Wispap) has voiced fears over the future of digital services in the nation.
According to Wispap Chairperson Shahzad Arshad, Pakistan’s digital pulse is stuttering, leaving millions dissatisfied and disengaged, as reported by The News.
VPNs become lifelines, everyday apps halt, and the internet is shrouded in doubt. Are there more serious flaws in the system, or is this just a security issue? Arshad said in his remark that although officials remain silent, the rumors paint a different picture.
Where it hurts the most, the turmoil is striking hard. The national exchequer receives a substantial $400 million from freelancers, who are rushing to remain online. Researchers encounter dead ends, traders experience delayed payments.
