In line with worldwide market trends, Pakistan’s gold price increased significantly for the third day in a row.
The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reports that at Rs 278,000, the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs 3,700 per tola.
Ten grams of 24-karat gold now cost Rs 238,340, up Rs 3,172 from the previous price.
Gold prices also soared on the global market, rising $37 to $2,668 an ounce, plus an extra $20 premium.
