Pakistan’s gold prices dropped Rs900 per tola on Monday, reaching Rs283,400. This decline coincides with a decline in global gold prices.
The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reports that the price of 10 grams of gold has also dropped, currently trading at Rs242,970 after dropping by Rs771.
The price of gold had increased by Rs2,000 just a few days prior, closing at Rs284,300.
Gold was trading at $2,739 an ounce on the global market, down $9 over the day, with an extra $20 premium.
