After rising for 13 months in a row, Pakistan’s IT exports have now declined for the first time in more than a year.
On a month-to-month basis, IT exports decreased by 2% in November 2024, down $6 million from October.
IT exports dropped from $324 million in October to $318 million in November, according to the State Bank of Pakistan.
The industry demonstrated a noteworthy 25% year-over-year gain in comparison to the same period previous year, notwithstanding this monthly dip.
Pakistan’s IT exports for the first five months of the current fiscal year totaled $1.53 billion, a significant increase over the $1.15 billion exports for the same period last year.
