When filming sex sequences with Timothée Chalamet, Gwyneth Paltrow reportedly told an on-set intimacy coordinator to “step a little bit back” because she would feel “very stifled” by someone directing them what to do.
Paltrow, 52, plays the wife of a rival professional who sleeps with Chalamet, 29, who plays a ping pong protégé in the new film Marty Supreme.
According to Paltrow, “I mean, we have a lot of sex in this movie,” with Vanity Fair. “There’s a lot – a lot.”
She did not, however, know that Hollywood was increasingly using experts to supervise such situations. “There’s now something called an intimacy co-ordinator, which I did not know existed.”
