Over her career, Pamela Anderson has had many highs and lows.
She may be so stoic about not receiving an Oscar nomination for her performance in The Last Showgirl because of this.
The Canadian actress told News, “The work is what wins.”
“It’s really exciting for me to even be in the conversation because ten years ago, you couldn’t have told me I’d be here.”
For her role in Gia Coppola’s film about a dying Las Vegas dancer, Anderson, 57, did manage to receive nods at the Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild Awards.
However, she is not a candidate for the Academy Awards, which will be held in Los Angeles this Sunday.
