You are in for a unique experience if you are visiting Hong Kong this weekend. Beginning on Saturday, thousands of enormous panda statues will greet visitors and locals alike.
Later this week, 2,500 panda sculptures were unveiled as part of the ‘Panda Go! Fest HK’, a huge exhibit at Hong Kong International Airport.
After two cubs were recently born at a nearby theme park, the city’s growing fondness for the cherished bears is reflected in the exhibit.
The panda sculptures will initially be on exhibit at the Avenue of Stars in the busy shopping district of Tsim Sha Tsui, reports, before traveling to three further places over the course of the month.
Ocean Park, where the twin cubs reside, is one important location.
