Residents of Parachinar are demanding the reopening of blocked highways and urgent relief for those impacted as they continue their four-day sit-in protest outside the Press Club.
After a 15-day standstill, 113 small and large vehicles carrying necessities arrived, according to Trade Union President Haji Imdad.
Additionally, supplies were transported to Lower Kurram and the neighboring districts by more than 100 trucks.
But he emphasized that in order to help the 500,000 residents who have been stranded for five months, at least 1,000 trucks are desperately needed.
