ISLAMABAD According to The News on Monday, the current administration is expected to introduce a number of bills in parliamentary proceedings today that could potentially have a significant impact on the future of the nation, particularly the judiciary.
The National Assembly will be presented with the Supreme Court (Practice and Procedure) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2024 by Senator Azam Nazir Tarar, Federal Law Minister.
This action, which is required by Article 89(2) of the Constitution, is a component of the government’s endeavors to provide prompt justice and modernize the legal system.
According to this article, an ordinance presented to the NA will be considered a bill that has been introduced in the House. The Senate received the same on Friday as well, and it was forwarded to the House’s standing committee.
