ISLAMABAD: According to the department’s newly approved regulations, Pakistani residents can now have their passports made from any location in the nation, regardless of the permanent address listed on their computerized national identity card (CNIC).
The change was brought about by a federal update to the passport regulations that permitted residents to obtain their passports from any location in the nation.
In order to assist the citizens, officials have notified the passport regional offices of the revision to the passport rules.
Mustafa Jamal Qazi, Directorate General (DG) of Immigration and Passports, stated that the federal government’s recent decision was made in consideration of the challenges that the citizens were facing.
