Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), halted the selection of the national team on Friday for the next Twenty20 International World Cup, which will take place in the United States and the West Indies next month.
Sources claim that the PCB chairman was upset with the selection committee.
According to sources, the coach’s “objection” is to see two players included in the roster of fifteen players. They did not, however, identify the two participants.
However, they then took a different stand, claiming that the chairman was unhappy with the manner in which the selection committee had operated but had not objected to any particular player.
The selection of the players was done without regular committee meetings. Furthermore, the sources added that he was not given access to the committee minutes.
