Perrie Edwards just made the decision to pursue a solo career.
Along with Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jesy Nelson, and Jade Thirlwall, who comprised the girl group Little Mix, the 31-year-old singer shot to fame in 2011 after winning The X Factor competition.
The singer of Shoutout To My Ex, however, departed the group in 2022 after they took a break. She has acknowledged that focusing only on her music has allowed her to manage her professional duties and motherhood while caring for her three-year-old son, Axel.
At The National Lottery’s Big Bash at London’s OVO Arena Wembley, Edwards spoke exclusively to BANG Showbiz, saying, “As a solo artist right now, I think I’m just getting to do what we want to do and just exploring.
