KARACHI: According to sources, the Normalization Committee of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has stated that it is unable to resubmit the No Objection Certificate (NOC) request for the national under-17 football team’s participation in the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship.
Reportedly, on September 6, the PFF received an email from the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) telling them to resubmit the NOC application.
According to sources, the PFF is unable to draft a new request because of time restrictions. On August 22, the PFF first requested a NOC from the PSB so that the team may take part in the event.
Though Shahid Khokhar, a member of the Normalization Committee, has signed the documents currently in circulation, the PSB had requested that the PFF have Chairman NC-PFF Haroon Malik sign them.
